Ray Wilmore To Co-Star In Fox Comedy Pilot Living Loaded
EXCLUSIVE: Author-actor-comedian Ray Wilmore is positioned to co-star opposite Mike Vogel in Living Loaded, Foxs single-camera comedy pilot within the It's Often Sunny In Philadelphia duo of Make the most of McElhenney and Make the most of Rosell and Foreign exchange Prods. In addition, Wilmore is planning a comedy special for Showtime. Using the book of the title by Serta Dunn, Living Loaded concentrates on Serta (Vogel), the loose chilling out blogger in the popular Living Loaded blog who's expected to change his career plans because he becomes an NPR radio host. Wilmore may have Leonard, a thoughtful and reserved Black intellectual whose imagine hosting their very own NPR show is crushed when Serta is introduced in as his co-host. Also cast in Living Loaded are Anna Maria Horsford just like a shateringly shy NPR executive and Kaitlyn Black as Esther. They join Vogel, Wilmore and recently cast Jesse Sutherland. The pilot gig will not hinder Wilmore’s duties as “senior Black correspondent” on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show With Jon Stewart where his latest segment round the Jeremy Lin mania went viral (video below). Round the writing side, The Bernie Mac Show creator Wilmore recently composed a comedy script for CBS that was eyed as potential starring vehicle for Martin Lawrence. The network is yet to produce a pickup decision around the Lawrence-fronted pilot. Wilmore is to apply UTA, 3 Arts and attorney Tom Hoberman.
